Cardiac hypertrophy does NOT means the heart enlarges until it explodes! I keep running across this exploding heart syndrome and I don't know who started it but it is wrong and passing on a gross exaggeration. Hyper= over, too much, and trophy= growth or development. There is no explosion there. People are walking around with congestive heart failure, and their hearts don't explode. Their kidneys give out eventually or their heart can't pump efficiently (really that's what CHF is) or they die of various other sad things, but their hearts do not explode. The rats got CHF.

Philip, You are absolutely correct. When the liberals in the US started telling us that the Constitution was a living breathing document, the Conservatives agreed because they knew the Constitution could be changed by amendment process.

But that was not what the Liberals/Dems/Socialists meant. What they meant that the constitution could mean whatever they wanted it to mean based on the time and the day, the morals of the time, and whatever they could get the activist judges to rule that it meant. The last thing they want to do is go back and read the Federalist papers so they can know what the constitution meant when it was written.

So they shouted long enough and loud enough and taught it in schools until now the meaning is muddled and most don't understand that the Constitution really needs to be "Carved in Stone" with a very rigorous amendment process necessary to change it. You have to have fixed rules in any game or the game won't ever be fair and equitable.

Imagine if we were going to play a hand of cards and I told you that the rules were "Living and Breathing"!! Would you wish to put any money in the game? I don't think so.

You might as well take our constitution to the UK because we are obviously not using it here anymore.

Doesn't the Constitution of the United States say something against all that junk?

Article One Section Nine states, and I quote:

No Preference shall be given by any Regulation of Commerce or Revenue to the Ports of one State over those of another; nor shall Vessels bound to, or from, one State, be obliged to enter, clear, or pay Duties in another.

All this NAIS / ADTF stuff allows taxation between states by the back door...

I am an Englishman living in England and I understand this (but only because I have been studying the American Constitution as the basis of a new Republican Constitution for once we have beaten the NWO and put our Monarchy and treacherous Parliament on trial).

HFCS is NOT in natural fruit juices. Only normal natural fructose. HFCS is highly concentrated chemically manufactured High fructose. Big difference.

Drink all the 100% apple, grape, cranberry juice you wish.

I understand that we should avoid HFCS. But are you saying that we should also avoid giving our kids 100% fruit juice, even if it is not from concentrate??

That is what your post implies in "Since the effects of fructose are most severe in the growing organism, we need to think carefully about what kind of sweeteners we give to our children. Fruit juices should be strictly avoided–they are very high in fructose"

Am I correct in reading this? And what should be give our growing children to drink?
